Will be one identical to the one shown in the photo. Not a copy or re-print. Your photo may not be the exact photo shown in the listing, but one nearly identical. Simply place items in the cart and then check out. But since photos are practically weightless, then this is really not an issue. When you place these items in your cart, it gives you the option to send me an invoice. You pay only that amount. A Word About Certificates of Authenticity (COAs). Thank you for your interest, but no, we do not believe in COAs, and neither should. Nor should you be placing your trust in them either, as a. COA does not prove anything. A COA is signed by someone you do not personally know, could probably never find again, and who may or may not be an expert in anything. Additionally, people have issued COAs on our autographs as though they were their pieces originally—all the more reason to avoid COAs. In the case of most of our items, there is more than just a signature—-there is an entire sentence. To see more handwriting and to know that the item is real. Forgers may be able to write someone’s name and occasionally fool people; however, trying to forge an entire sentence in someone else’s handwriting is nearly impossible. If you are seeking COAs with your autographs, then the question you should be asking yourself is this. What does the COA do for me? A collector needs to educate himself as to what the handwriting of the person he is collecting looks like, and then he will know if it is real or not by his own knowledge. Do not leave this to someone else to do for you. You need to know that your item is authentic because you have done your homework—-not because some piece of paper signed by someone you do not know and who wants to sell you something says it is authentic. If you have not done your homework, and if you have not researched and are familiar with the handwriting of the person whom you are collecting, then with all due respect, then you do not know what you are doing and have no business collecting autographs. Placing your faith in COAs to serve as your proof that your item is real is irresponsible and quite risky. Houses and cars are issued titles—not autographs. So for these reasons, we do not issue COAs. Once the astronauts start passing away, and they are as we speak. Then these prices will go higher. I hoped that this helped you to understand our field a little better. Ood luck to you building your space autograph collection. Original Neil Armstrong Apollo 11 NASA Astronaut autograph signed in a cardboard
Original Neil Armstrong astronaut signed in a white cardboard. Signature possibly given (as an “improvised” autograph in a simple piece of white cardboard) to a member from the Itapema Resort & Spa – Hotel in the city of Itapema, state of Santa Catarina (Brazil) in May, 2009 in his visit to Brazil that year by the occasion of his stepchild’s wedding. (see the pic 3). PLEASE – NOTE THATS’S AN ORIGINAL ITEM! With COA (Certificate of Authenticity) issued / emitted by Graphotype Documentos Ltda. Richard de Souza Jacobson, Sworn Forensic Scientist / Expert – Espírito Santo / Brazil, December, 18th 2018 (see on the Pic 2). ABOUT THE ARMSTRONGS STAY IN BRAZIL. In 2009, Neil Armstrong. Made a visit in the south of Brazil – more specifically in the city of Itapema (on the state of Santa Catarina) and, unlike the historical moment at which he became known n 1969 (being accompanied by 1.2 billion people through TV and radio), his stay in Brazilian soil was marked by extreme secrecy. In all the contracts related to the event that in May of that year of 2009 that brought Armstrong to the country the marriage of hisstepchild with the daughter of a Santa Catarina entrepreneur- the secrecy was one of the clauses – it was a kind of state secret imposed on employees of Plaza Itapema Hotel and the staff who were part of the ceremonial. This was true for anyone who treated the decor, the food, the guest list, the dance. The family of the Brazilian bride Cristina Chang, from Itajaí, wanted to respect the request of the stepfather of the fiance, Andi Knight, of not being pestered and, in fact, one only knew of his and his wife’s visit, on the hotel’s website, 10 days after his departure! Despite trying to keep his distance, Armstrong made a good impression on the people at the hotel who found him, described for the hotel staff as a “simple man and guest without great demands”. Armstrong landed in Santa Catarina State at Hercilio Luz International Airport (in the capital of the State, Florianopolis city) on Sunday, May 24, 2009. He came with a group of family members and friends of the newlyweds and the check in at the Resort & Spa Plaza Itapema was at 6pm. Also, he wore buttons on the left side – would it be a symbol of NASA, the North American Space Agency? The flag of the United States? Or maybe some university in the state of Ohio, where you live? No one could come to see. At the day, the rain delayed the beginning of the ceremony and, to protect the guests, was mounted a tent – underneath it, Armstrong was photographed with the couple hosting the luxurious resort. The ceremony was in English, having no priest or pastor – as the fiancé’s stepfather, Armstrong gave a short speech. With a few words, he revealed his joy at being there among family and friends. Then a cocktail with Brazilian delicacies was served. At dinner buffet, meats and tropical fruits. The “caipirinha” (a typical Brazilian drink) fell to the taste of the guests, especially of the North Americans. Armstrong would have said that he liked this region of Brazil and, at the time, he exposed his intention to return: “I’d like to come back for another good holiday, ” the ex-astronaut was quoted as saying. Armstrong’s footsteps by Itapema city were so stealthy that the mayor’s authority, Mayor Sabino Busanello, was informed by a “Diário Catarinense” journalist (the “Diário Catarinense” is the bigger Santa Catarina’s Newspaper), which had knocked on the door of his office for some information, but also in the government of Santa Catarina the fact passed overlooked. The report was questioned by the United States Embassy in Brazil. When was the visit? “It was a visit from Citizen Armstrong”. So, since she wasn’t on a diplomatic mission, she would not have to notify the authorities. Upon check-out around 11am on May 27, proof that for three days the author of the famous phrase “a small step for man, a giant leap for mankind” may have seen the Moon in the sky with your feet on the sands of Santa Catarina. At the time, the Diário Catarinense published a story made by reporter Angela Bastos, which was published on July 12, 2009. (Source: O Sol Diário – Digital Newspaper, from the original article in Portuguese). (August 5, 1930 August 25, 2012) was an American astronaut and aeronautical engineer who was the first person to walk on the Moon. He was also a naval aviator, test pilot, and university professor. A graduate of Purdue University, Armstrong studied aeronautical engineering with his college tuition paid for by the U. Navy under the Holloway Plan. He became a midshipman in 1949, and a naval aviator the following year. He saw action in the Korean War, flying the Grumman F9F Panther from the aircraft carrier USS Essex. In September 1951, he was hit by anti-aircraft fire while making a low bombing run, and was forced to bail out. After the war, he completed his bachelor’s degree at Purdue and became a test pilot at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) High-Speed Flight Station at Edwards Air Force Base in California. He was the project pilot on Century Series fighters and flew the North American X-15 seven times. He was also a participant in the U. Air Force’s Man in Space Soonest and X-20 Dyna-Soar human spaceflight programs. Armstrong joined the NASA Astronaut Corps in the second group, which was selected in 1962. He made his first spaceflight as commander of Gemini 8 in March 1966, becoming NASA’s first civilian astronaut to fly in space. During this mission with pilot David Scott, he performed the first docking of two spacecraft; the mission was aborted after Armstrong used some of his re-entry control fuel to stabilize a dangerous roll caused by a stuck thruster. During training for Armstrong’s second and last spaceflight as commander of Apollo 11, he had to eject from the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle moments before a crash. In July 1969, Armstrong and Apollo 11 Lunar Module pilot Buzz Aldrin became the first people to land on the Moon, and spent two and a half hours outside the spacecraft while Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit in the command and service module. When Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface, he famously said: That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind. Along with Collins and Aldrin, Armstrong was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Richard Nixon. President Jimmy Carter presented Armstrong with the Congressional Space Medal of Honor in 1978, and Armstrong and his former crewmates received a Congressional Gold Medal in 2009. After he resigned from NASA in 1971, Armstrong taught in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati until 1979. He served on the Apollo 13 accident investigation, and on the Rogers Commission, which investigated the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. He acted as a spokesman for several businesses, and appeared in advertising for the automotive brand Chrysler starting in January 1979.
