Wehrmacht DAK Personal Postcard, Signed by Field Marshall Erwin Rommel! This specific postcard was written to his wife “Lucie”, in 1936. Written to his wife Frau Lu (Lucie) Rommel in 1936 from Potsdam, this is an AMAZING example! Rommel penned the entire message in both the blank area of the postcard, as well as the front side. Part of the inscription reads. Many thanks for your dear letter. It is hard to understand how my first card could reach you so late. In the meantime, a further card and letter have been dispatched… Not sure what the rest indicates. It is signed both “Erwin”, and “Rommel” in two different areas of the card. Some marks and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts. A SUPERB piece of history knowing that Rommel actually had this postcard IN HIS HANDS, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection! TERMS OF SALE.
