We find that DAVID COMSTOCK served for five years in the Revolutionary War from 1777, when he was 16, until 1782 in Capt. Uriah Raymonds Regiment of Rangers formed to protect Southwest Connecticut. Comstock was also part of a committee to get what salt there was in the town of Boston, belonging to the inhabitants of this townat the expense of the town as part of the war effort.
